The New Year special episode of Bigg Boss 18 turned into a laughter riot as Laughter Chefs contestants Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar graced the house to promote their show. Accompanying them was the ever-charming host of Laughter Chefs, Bharti Singh, who brought her trademark humor to the night.
As the duo entered the house, they were welcomed by all the contestants.Abhishek Kumar, who gained fame from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, shared a warm hug with Karan Veer Mehra. However, the camaraderie soon turned playful as Karan Veer teased Samarth and Abhishek by calling them the channel’s “nepo kids.”
Bharti Singh didn’t miss the chance to tease the duo, especially by indirectly mentioning Isha Malviya’s name. She jokingly asked, “Tell me, who is Isha here?” Abhishek, trying to steer the conversation away, quipped that there were many other topics to discuss. Bharti, however, reminded him about Eisha Singh, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. Eisha joined in the fun, asking Abhishek, “Have you forgotten me?” to which he responded, “How can I forget you?” This playful banter added a humorous touch to the episode.
Karan Kundrra further teased Samarth, asking him, “Tu kya bolke aaya hai?” (What did you tell them before coming?). For those unfamiliar with the backstory, Bigg Boss 17 witnessed a love triangle involving Samarth, Abhishek, and Isha Malviya. Samarth entered as a wild card contestant, and his relationship with Isha caused friction with Abhishek, who was also in love with her. Their rivalry led to multiple heated arguments in the previous season.
Fast forward to Bigg Boss 18, Abhishek surprised everyone by revealing that he and Samarth have buried the hatchet. He declared, “Humare bich ek shaks nikal gaya aur ab hum bohot close ho chuke hai” (One person who was between us has gone, and now we have become very close). He further added that the two are now great friends and partners in Laughter Chefs.
Meanwhile, the tension in the house remains high as this week’s nominated contestants include Kashish Kapoor, Shrutika Arjun, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chaahat Pandey.
