Man and woman found dead with multiple gunshot wounds at apartment in N. Harris Co., deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A woman and a man, who is possibly her adult son, are dead after a shooting in north Harris County.

Their bodies were found at an apartment complex at 990 Cypress Station Drive near Rustyleaf Lane, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said they’re still trying to confirm the relationship between the two victims. Whoever is responsible for the double homicide is still out there.

Deputies were called to the apartment complex around 8 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found the man and woman dead in the apartment. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said they both had multiple gunshot wounds.

Gonzalez added that investigators don’t yet know who called 911. There are still a lot of questions when it comes to the suspect or suspects authorities are looking for.

“No suspect information at this point. We’re still very early in our investigation, so we still need to confirm some things. We’re trying to ask our community, as we always do, to please call us if they have any information,” Gonzalez said.
