2 stabbed inside South Deering restaurant


Two women are in custody after police say they stabbed two people inside a South Deering restaurant early Saturday.

The women allegedly attacked a 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman with a sharp object at a restaurant in the 2000 block of East 95th Street around 12:30 a.m., Chicago police said.

The man refused medical assistance and the woman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition, police said. The two suspects went to Trinity Hospital, where they are listed in fair condition with multiple injuries to the back. They were placed in police custody at the hospital.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
