Earlier today, March 30, North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal to locate the whereabouts of Ethan Evans.
In an update, a force spokesperson said: “We’re sad to report that officers searching for missing Ethan have this afternoon recovered a body in Easingwold.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but we believe the body is of Ethan who went missing on Friday. We have informed Ethan’s family of the news and they are receiving support from specialist officers.
“Officers do not currently believe that there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
Police thanked everyone who supported their appeal.
