British Transport Police appeal for witnesses after woman is sexually assaulted on Glasgow to Edinburgh train  – Deadline News


THE British Transport Police are investigating a sexual assault that took place between Glasgow Queens Street and Polmont. 

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information that could help the investigation to come forward. 

The incident took place last month on an evening train between Glasgow and Edinburgh. 

A man came and sat next to the woman before touching her on the thigh.

The British Transport Police said: “Between 9:55pm and 10:05pm on Friday 14 March, a woman was on board a train when a man has sat down next to her and touched the woman on her thigh.  

“The woman has confronted the man asking him why is he touching her (sic).” 

They confirm that officers are investigating the assault, which took place on Friday 14 March.
