Police have charged a man with murder following a death in the Conisbrough area of Doncaster.
Officers were called to a property in Maple Grove at 21:29 GMT on Thursday.
John Hinchliffe, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene, South Yorkshire Police said.
Korey Ewen, 23, of Maple Grove, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear before magistrates in Sheffield on Monday.
A spokesperson for the force said officers were supporting Mr Hinchliffe’s family.
Investigations have been continuing in the street, where a police presence remains in place.
