CHICAGO — One robber was killed and another was critically wounded Friday morning in Homan Square.
A 28-year-old man was outside in the 900 block of South Homan just before 5:20 a.m. when two men approached with firearms.
They then announced a robbery and the man, who has a FOID and CCL, exchanged gunfire with them.
One of the suspected robbers, 42, was shot in the head and died at the sign. Another, 20, was transported in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the neck.
The man was transported to St. Anthony in good condition.
