DENVER (KDVR) — The Pinpoint Weather Alert Day ends Sunday as snow in the high country continues to wrap up. Temperatures will remain chilly Sunday afternoon ahead of a nice warmup starting Monday.

Weather today: Snow ending, cold
Today, look for clouds to clear and give way to sunshine by the afternoon. Temperatures will stay cold and only reach the middle 20s, which is more than 15 degrees colder than normal for this time of year.

Weather tonight: Clear skies
Temperatures stay cold tonight as lows drop down into the lower teens. Winds will be out of the southwest anywhere from 5-15 mph.

Looking ahead: Sunny, seasonal start to the workweek
The work week starts with plenty of sunshine on Monday. This plus a light southwesterly breeze will help to boost high temperatures to more seasonal levels in the mid 40s.

This sunny and seasonal trend with morning lows in the teens or low 20s and highs in the mid-40s will continue through the week. The next chance for change will move in by the end of the week. A system will move in from the southwest giving a chance for rain or snow showers as early as Thursday or Friday.
