Firefighters were battling a 2-11 blaze early Wednesday at a building in Austin on the West Side.
The fire broke out sometime before 5 a.m. in the 5000 block of West Lake Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
As of about 6:45 a.m. firefighters using a drone and several water hoses, were still trying to extinguish the flames, the fire department said on X.

No Green Line trains are running between Ashland/Lake and Harlem/Lake due to the fire, CTA said in an alert.
No injuries were initially reported.
