(KRON) — The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man last seen on Saturday. Robert Harris, 79, went missing after leaving his residence on West A Street in Hayward, authorities said.
Harris is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 206 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
The sheriff’s office said Harris was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
His vehicle was last spotted driving in the area of Creekside Way in Campbell. The license plate for the truck is 5D36331.
“Robert has some medical issues,” authorities said. “He is blind in one eye and uses a walker. He can be forgetful and gets lost easily.”
The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert for the missing man.
