The leaders of Ontario’s four main political parties will be in North Bay on Feb. 14 for a northern issues debate.

Less than two weeks before the Feb. 27 provincial election, the debate will be hosted by the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) and feature:

  • Doug Ford, Progressive Conservatives.
  • Bonnie Crombie, Liberals.
  • Marit Stiles, New Democratic Party.
  • Mike Schreiner, Green Party.

CBC Radio Morning North host Markus Schwabe will moderate the debate and pose questions on behalf of FONOM, with a special focus on northern Ontario issues.

It’s scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and will take place at Canadore College’s G-Wing Theatre.

Following the 90-minute debate, it’s expected the four leaders will answer media questions during a scrum.

CBC News will have a live web stream and coverage during and after the event.
