Flooding between Kirkconnel and Sanquhar has affected services towards Dumfries and Carlisle.
This meant trains between Glasgow Central and Carlisle via Dumfries could be delayed or cancelled.
Lines have now reopened but some services may still face delays.

ScotRail said: “We’ve received reports of flooding between Kirkconnel and Sanquhar affecting services towards Dumfries and Carlisle.
“Train services between Glasgow Central and Carlisle via Dumfries are subject to delay.”
The travel giant then issued an update saying: “Lines have now reopened following reports of flooding between Kirkconnel and Sanquhar.
“Until service returns to normal, trains running between Kilmarnock and Carlisle remain subject to delay.”

The yellow weather is expected to bring “very poor weather conditions” and could cause flooding and travel disruption.
