The incident happened just before 7.45am this morning with police confirming thankfully nobody was hurt.
Durham Police officers said they reported a woman in her 30s for careless driving before the car was recovered.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called following a report of road traffic collision involving a Mini Cooper at Meadowfield Industrial Estate in Durham just before 7.45am this morning.
“No one is believed to have been injured but the driver, a woman in her 30s, was reported for careless driving.
“The car has been recovered and Durham County Council are working to remove debris from the road.”
