The operation has been carried out by officers from the Leigh East Neighbourhood Team together with Wigan Council’s community resilience team around Siddow Common.
They say over the last few weeks they have secured a full closure order on a property on Siddow common and a new partial closure order on a property on Cecil Street.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “These addresses have been a hot spot for anti-social behaviour and drug related activity causing issues for the local community for several months.
“The courts have deemed it suitable to keep one property subject to the full closure and restrict access to another to prevent any further issues arising.
Closure orders are in place (Image: GMP) “Both orders are in place for the next three months and will be monitored closely by the council and police for any breaches of the orders.
“All options remain open including the tenancy proceedings which can result in Wigan council taking back possession of the property.

“Entry to either property by any persons not named on the court order will result in arrest and appearance in court to answer for their actions.
“The behaviour linked to these addresses will not be tolerated and together we will act robustly to make the local community feel safe.”
