Shop front significantly damaged and glass shards on pavement after ‘incident’

Best One shop on Acklam Road in the town has sustained severe damage to the shutters, doors, and shop front.

It’s believed that the incident happened in the early hours of the morning, but other details of the incident haven’t been confirmed by emergency services at this time. 

(Image: TERRY BLACKBURN) In images from the scene, the shutters of the shop can be seen prised open, while the glass door of the business has been smashed open and glass shards are scattered along the pavement.

In other images, a van is parked in front of the shop shutters, and several tools can be seen on the floor outside the Middlesbrough store.
