Highway crews from Hampshire County Council are set to undertake road works on the busy Bury Road this week.
It is understood the council’s teams will be undertaking ‘carriageway patching’ which will require a road closure although footways for pedestrians are set to be unaffected.

These works are scheduled to take place between 8am and 3pm on Friday, April 11.
A diversion route has been put in place which takes drivers onto Normandy Way.
Later in the month, a further set of works are planned for Bury Road – but this bout will not require a closure of the road.
Instead, temporary traffic lights will be installed on the road on Monday, April 14, and work is due to take place between 9:30am and 4pm.
