York BID has erected the seating across the city, with the animals at places including Exhibition Square, Eye of York, Museum Gardens and Duncombe Place. There is also a new grass horse seat in a new seating area in Davygate.
Carl Alsop, Operations Manager at York BID, said: “The summer seating and grass animals have become a real favourite with locals and visitors.
“They add 400 additional places to sit in the city, lots of colour, character and even more fun to the city centre – plus they invite people to slow down and enjoy what York has to offer.”
