Dubai-style chocolate – which is a combination of milk chocolate, pistachio and kadayif pastry – has become a major trend across the UK in recent months.
Having caught the attention of people all around the world through the likes of TikTok, major retailers in the UK are now jumping on board the trend and releasing their own versions of the viral chocolate bar.
Already, the likes of Lindt, Lidl and B&M have launched their own Dubai-style chocolate bars.

M&S releases new Big Daddy pistachio chocolate bar
M&S has now released its own version – The Big Daddy Pistachio chocolate bar.
The new release is a “chunky” chocolate bar with pistachio creme, caramel and pistachio pieces.
The major retailer announced the release of its Dubai-style chocolate bar on social media on Wednesday (April 23), much to the excitement of shoppers.
M&S said: “BIG news for lovers of all things PISTACHIO AND CHOCOLATE.
“Save yourself the airfare to Dubai and get yourself down to your local Foodhall…our iconic Big Daddy Bar has been given a nutty new twist!
“We’ve absolutely LOADED our chunky creamy milk chocolate bar with smooth pistachio crème, caramel and roasted pistachio pieces for an extra special M&S twist on the viral chocolate sensation.
“Find it in your local M&S Foodhall or on @ocadouk NOW!”
The announcement has already caused a mad rush to M&S stores across the country, as shoppers attempt to get their hands on one of the chocolate bars before stock runs out.
One person, commenting on M&S post about the chocolate on Facebook, said: “TWO bought this morning! It’s lovely.”
Another added: “Was there 1st thing this morning to make sure I didn’t miss it like the eggs so all secure ready to taste test later.”
While a third shopper commented: “Just on my way to my local Marks and Spencer but not holding my breath I was lucky to actually get a jar of the Pistachio crème a few weeks back after searching forever but it’s absolutely divine which I’m sure this will be.”
