Police received complaints from numerous members of the public in the area before officers launched a full investigation into the problem-hit property.
(Image: Picture: THE NORTHERN ECHO) They found the address was linked to drug use, offensive weapons and anti-social behaviour.
With the help of residents, and Durham County Council ASB team, investigators were able to gather enough evidence to hit the property with a closure order.
The order was heard and granted at Peterlee Magistrates Court with immediate effect.

“We will not tolerate serious nuisance, criminality and anti-social behaviour. Do not suffer in silence!”
