Inspired by its Coca-Cola counterpart, this year Lidl has unveiled its very own festive truck named after its own fizzy drink brand, Freeway, that has been touring locations across the UK since November 14.
Today, on the last day of its tour, the truck came to put smiles on resident’s faces in Southampton.

The truck was set up outside the O2 Guildhall from 12pm and 6pm and dozens of visitors queued for festive gifts.
Joanna Gomer, Marketing Director at Lidl GB, said: “Giving back to the communities we serve is really important to us and our exciting new Freeway truck allows us to get right into the heart of them this year.
“By touring nine stops across the country, we’ll be using our giant truck to hand out present boxes, give away festive food shops and grant wishes that will make dreams come true.
