Located in the middle of Thirsk Market Place, the towering display is a masterclass in knitting artistry.
Standing tall and bursting with festive colours, the Christmas Tower features layers of detailed scenes that celebrate the joy of the holiday season.
At its snowy base, knitted reindeer, penguins, and polar bears frolic around snowdrifts, with presents and candy canes scattered across a white knitted floor.
The scene evokes a magical winter wonderland, setting the tone for what lies above.
The mid-section of the tower showcases Santa’s Workshop, complete with busy elves knitting scarves, packing gifts, and preparing Santa’s sleigh.
Around them, cheerful carol singers, knitted snowmen, and festive decorations create an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.
The knitted reindeer, led by Rudolph, appears to spiral upward along a knitted “flight path,” as though taking Santa on his Christmas Eve journey.
