Polnoon Street in Eaglesham was closed shortly after 11.30am on Thursday, January 16, following a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
After being alerted to the collision, emergency crews raced to the area.

Cops have since issued an update on the crash revealing the road has reopened (Image: Newsquest) Police revealed that the cyclist, a man, had been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The condition of the man is currently unknown.
During the incident, officers were urging drivers to ‘avoid the area’.
In pictures captured by the Glasgow Times, police could be seen standing in the area as investigations took place.
Following the crash, cops have since confirmed that Polnoon Road in the sleepy village has reopened.
The road reopened shortly after 7pm.
