DENVER (KDVR) — Two teenagers were shot in the parking lot of Skate City in Aurora Saturday evening, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora police said the incident happened near the south side of the building in the parking lot where they discovered shell casings. Investigators have not determined a motive in the shooting.
One of the victims was a 14-year-old girl and the other a teenage boy whose age is unknown.
The boy was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and the girl was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are gathering more suspect information and believe the suspects likely knew the victims.
