Watervliet police search for suspect in Dunkin' robbery

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Watervliet Police are searching for the suspect of a robbery that occurred on Friday night, according to the department. The incident allegedly took place at Dunkin’ on 19th Street.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, but the suspect has yet to be apprehended, police said. Detectives have been reviewing video evidence and following up on leads that have come in, Watervliet Police Chief William Rice told NEWS10 on Saturday, but the department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding the suspect.

Investigators encourage anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or have access to surveillance footage to reach out to the Watervliet Police Department’s Investigation Division at (518) 270-3833. You can also email the department at officeofthechief@watervliet.com.

“Any details, no matter how small, could be helpful in the investigation,” Rice said.
